ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ UK & I Culinary Director recognised by British Ex-Forces in Business Awards
ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ UK & I Culinary Director, Nick Vadis has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Achiever award at the British Ex-Forces in Business Awards, in recognition for his extraordinary work with the NHS. Nick has been instrumental in setting up the NHS Chefs Academy, looking at how they influence staff and visitor feeding, worked on improvements alongside the government’s Hospital Food Review, implemented NHS chef of the year competitions and designed multiple new cookbooks that provide a suite of recipes for the NHS.
Commenting on Nick making the shortlist Camilla Howard, Chair of ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ UK & Ireland’s Armed Forces Covenant Committee said:
“I am delighted that Nick has been shortlisted for this prestigious award that recognises both his Royal Navy and ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ experience. Nick served 25 years in the Royal Navy and has been with ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ for over 20 years. His enthusiasm is infectious and he brings his fantastic work ethic to all that he does. His work with the NHS over the past year has been exceptional and a great example of the natural leadership skills Nick has, along with an unwavering passion for all things culinary. We wish him best of luck at the awards.â€
